Can my dog swim with this collar on?

We don’t recommend using the VelvetFit Dog Collar for swimming. While the polyester is durable, the collar is not designed for prolonged water exposure. For regular water activities, a fully waterproof collar is a better choice.
How do I clean and maintain the collar?

Wipe the collar with a damp cloth and mild soap. Allow it to air dry completely. Machine washing or tumble drying is not recommended, as it may damage the velvet texture and metal buckle.
Is the buckle strong enough for powerful dogs?

Yes. The metal buckle and D-ring are engineered for high strength and secure fastening, making the collar suitable for both small and strong dogs. For dogs that pull excessively, we still recommend pairing it with a proper harness for maximum control.
